Balkal yarn is made from the stem. The cocoon attaches itself to the trees in the forrest via a brown steam they create.
Once the butterflies have left the cocoon and steam are collected.

Great for weaving and other crafts - they also dye very easily, as well as being great for a wide range of textile techniques.
